Hydrogen Storage Technology Development
This is our very first project, started as a master’s degree thesis. EELO Solutions founder Chih-Ting Lo and her supervisors Boyd Davis and Kunal Karan developed a novel hydrogen storage process using sodium borohydride as published in Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, a peer reviewed journal. We subsequently worked on commercialization, including filing for patent applications, raising funds to advance the technology, and assessing product market fit in subsequent years.
HIGHLIGHTS
The journal publication has been cited more than 110 times
We generated approximately $800,000 CAD in public and private funding
